How to avoid unwanted tags from your Facebook friends

If you are Facebook power user then one time or other you might surely get annoyed with your friends tagging you in unwanted photos and in the results generated while using apps like most famous photo, IPL team, etc.. Every time I get a notification that I was tagged in a photo I think it was some important pic and I check it immediately and finds it a automated tag or some best wishes pic. If you are also facing the same problem  here is a solution to this Facebook photo tag privacy issue.

1) Login to your Facebook account and click on the down arrow beside the HOME link.

2) Go to privacy settings in the dropdown menu.

3) Now click on the Edit settings link beside the heading Timeline and Tagging.

4) A popup with different setting appear before you. Now you have to Enable both the settings which are marked with green rectangles in the below screenshot.

5) If you want to control your privacy more you can alter the remaining settings and increase your privacy from the default.

Once you activate this feature no photo or status with your tag is posted on your timeline. You are notified about the tag and only when you approve it the photos or status are posted.
